Short bio

Hey. I'm Cisco. I'm a fullstack developer with a passion for building beautiful things. I'm highly fascinated by the intersection of technology and design, and I'm deeply connected to the idea of helping humans with code.

When I'm not coding, I'm usually playing video games, watching films or dreaming of the next car to get.

Tivly

Full Stack Engineer

04/2023 - 01/2026

At Tivly I worked as a full-stack engineer where most of my work involved re-architecting a tightly-coupled monolith into something testable, standing up new microservices, and building out our internal component library, alongside shipping workflow changes that moved real business metrics. It pushed me to think about problems end-to-end, from the database up through the interface.

  • Refactored more than 50 business-critical files within a Laravel monolith, including controller classes exceeding 15,000 lines; applied a Controller–Service–Repository architecture that made previously coupled logic independently unit-testable.
  • Helped introduce approximately 10 production microservices for workflows including third-party email delivery and lead-detail retrieval; supported 10,000+ emails per day while isolating failures through dedicated error-handling paths.
  • Partnered with UX to create and maintain Curve, a custom component library of 20–30 reusable components built with Storybook, SCSS, and Vite; replaced the legacy Bootstrap 3 foundation across 50+ priority pages.
  • Modernized the call-center workflow used by all agents, replacing legacy jQuery and Bootstrap dependencies with vanilla JavaScript and an updated UX; reduced call-completion time by more than 30% and increased lead-transfer capacity from 7,000 to 10,000 per day (42.9%).
  • Built the Heartbeat workflow for approximately 300 concurrent call-center agents, eliminating duplicate agent assignments from roughly 1 in 20 calls to zero and preventing inactive agents from receiving calls.
  • Implemented NLP-assisted business classification for approximately 10,000 leads per day, replacing manual category searches with automated selection from the existing taxonomy; only about 1 in 70 cases required clarification.

Velsera

Junior Front End Engineer

05/2022 - 04/2023

At Velsera I worked as a junior front-end engineer on ARIA, a bioinformatics platform used to build and analyze health-data cohorts at scale. I spent most of my time in Angular and TypeScript, building out UI components and the services behind them, while learning what it takes to ship reliable, well-tested software as part of a 15-engineer team. It was my first real exposure to writing frontend code that had to hold up under serious data scale and strict reliability expectations.

  • Built and enhanced 50+ Angular components, and workflows for the ARIA Cohort Composer GUI, enabling bioinformaticians to create and analyze health-data cohorts at a scale of up to 1 million participants.
  • Delivered a core Cohort Composer UI component that translated 50+ search parameters into API requests for filtering, validation, saving, and health-data retrieval.
  • Developed and maintained 50+ TypeScript interfaces, types, and Angular services, improving frontend data-structure consistency and API-workflow reliability.
  • Helped maintain 99.8% application uptime by building resilient frontend workflows and collaborating with backend engineers on reliable API integrations.
  • Added and maintained 100+ unit tests, sustaining 100% frontend test coverage and reducing manual QA effort alongside end-to-end testing.
  • Reviewed approximately 15–20 pull requests per week, collaborating with backend engineers to unblock integrated feature delivery and maintain code quality.
